Maria, Michael & Princess Tatianna are on their way home! I am so excited I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!! Not to mention being worthless at work tomorrow :) I have to work until 12pm, then we are off to the airport!! Hooray!!

Thank you again everyone for all of your happy thoughts, kind words and prayers!


I'm sure Maria will be logging in and updating everyone tomorrow. (before her jet lag kicks in)

I think I'm going to miss blogging... heehee

Baby Princess Tatianna is with her new mommy & daddy!!!!!!

They had their appt this morning and it went well. I didn't get to speak w/Maria, but I spoke with my brother in law, he said she is perfect....

Can't wait for them to get home!!!

They arrived!

Just spoke w/Maria. They arrived at the hotel and are settled in. They had a great flight and everyone has been super friendly. It's 11:45 pm there, so she's going to sleep now. Soon she will be holding her beautiful lil' princess!! So exciting!!

On their way....

Hello everyone! It's Maria's sister - just wanted to give a quick update... At 8:30pm, Maria & Michael were on board the plane, awaiting take off for Ethiopia!!!! WOOHOO!!!
This was after an eight hour lay over in Washington where her wonderful friend Kendra met them for lunch and gave them a nice tour. (thank you Kendra)

I probably won't hear anything more for awhile, but as soon as I do, I will post a new update. (or Maria might actually get a chance to sign in & post)

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers for my sister, brother in law and my new beautiful niece! I can't wait for them to get home - I'm almost tempted to book a flight to Washington to meet them there on their return flight! :)

In 2 days. Saturday at the bright and sick hour of 4:30 am we are heading to the airport. Yikes!!!

WE ARE REALLY GOING TO ETHIOPIA !!

Adoption makes for some wonderful connections with people who you may never have met otherwise. Suddenly you have something in common with folks across the country and sometimes in other countries , that connects you. We share an understanding for something so magical that many people really dont get it. They see $$ signs and roadblocks, where we see a journey worth taking, a life changing experience full of ups and downs. And the gift at the end of this journey? Priceless.

A new adoption friend Kim made baby girl this beautiful minky blanket :) I just love it and it matches our mocha Whizz stroller perfectly! Thank you Kim :)

This is the "taggie blankie" I won a GC for from Seegals blog. It is sooo cute. Visit Burp Itty Burp to check out the goodies :) It says HIWOT .

Ok another way coooooool Craigslist find. I really wanted a plug in swing for baby girl but the FP rainforest swing is pricey for a baby that is only going to use it for a few months. Well after much searching I found one a few blocks from my home with an extra motor for only $50 ! It is in brand new condition :) I am thrilled with the $ I have saved searching CL. There is junk on there , so just be picky :)

As you can see Boo is in love with the swing. She thought it was for her...we talked & she & I decided she would share it with her baby sista :)

It would be alot cooler if the pics were With the text .. sorry :) I dont have time to mess with it, I am going to ETHIOPIA !!!!!
