3 little princess girls from 3 different countries

Our beautiful Boo. Born in Guatemala. Oh what a blessing this child is. 6 years of joy.

My little Ethiopian beauty, My baby girl is a muscled wee little thing. A firecracker. With a heart of gold. 3 years old :)

Our beautiful brown babies :) Love them! They are the sweetest sisters and have a bond I dreamed they would.

Finally our little survivor. Our fighter. Taiya our European beauty with a little something extra ;) this child was at a 5-6 month old level almost 2 years ago at 4 years old when we brought her home. Starving. Head shaved. Couldnt crawl, walk, stand on her own or barely sit without support. LOOK at her now:) thats GOD's love and strength. She is 6 years old now. She is learning to run and jump and talk. She will be starting school too! We love this baby :)

Tell me adoption is not beautiful.

We had a not so nice, article written on our family in a newspaper from Taiyas home country. The reporter said we picked our children based on "colors" That we dress Taiya as a "fancy puppy" and flaunt our children around but dont take them to parties.
What? We didnt chose our children. GOD did. And I have had puppies. This is SO not the same :)
stupid .people.

travel countdown to reunite with our sweet boy in a few weeks!!

Hugs!

URGENT! Adoption turned rescue mission and another matching grant!

We are down to the last 2 days of our fundraiser!!! Wow.  God has provided and moved hearts for the orphan. This hasn't been about me, or Lindy's family. This is about bringing glory to God, and following his word. Proverbs 24:12 tell us
“Once our eyes are opened, we can’t pretend we don’t know what to do. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know and holds us responsible to act.'

Folks have listened. They have heard. We are humbled.

Orphan children should not suffer and be left alone to a cruel world because that is EASIER for us. We are not called to be comfortable. We are called to obey.

~Reality check time. Lindy's little one Kole, has turned 5 years old. Turning 4 or 5 in an Eastern European orphanage is NOT a time of celebration. Its a time of dread. Its a loud clock ticking. Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Tick Tock. Its the count down to the medical van pulling up and the long drive to the remote mental institution. It is scary. Their whole world as they have known it has been destroyed.

We  have seen the damage moving our "Phillip" (Sasha to us) to an older childs special needs institute has done to him.. He is scary thin, his hand twitches and his speech has regressed. What about his heart and soul? Only time will tell.

Our Boy now :( hang in there baby!

~The good news ? We have a matching grant offer. AND We are almost there !! Hang on babies!
Lindy's brother Adam Dumala and his Fiance Amber Lyn Montross are going to donate 2 dollars for every 1 dollar donated. That means when you give $10, they will donate $20!!! So your $10 will be $30! Get it?!? The bigger picture means that if we can get $500 in donations, Lindy's brother and Amber will give $1,000!!!!!!!!!!!

God has continued to move people's hearts and put amazing

generous people in our paths who truly feel the pain of the

 orphan. Praise God.

We need just a little bit more help :) We are almost there.

Please share our blog, and help get the word out. Pray for our boys. Pray they are treated with kindness and they stay well until we are there.

Scroll down to the post announcing our fundraiser to see OVER 30 AWESOME gifts you will have a chance at for a mere $10 donation!

~Use the chip in or the paypal button labeled IPAD 2 Fundraiser :):)

Joining forces for our boys~Over 30 prizes,A matching GRANT & really cool story

I couldn't make this story up if I tried.

Over 5 years ago Lindy House and I met at a homeschool get-together. We talked briefly and saw each other maybe a couple more times that year.
We never kept in touch, Facebook wasn't the big thing yet;)

Two years ago while Lindy  was living in TN we found each other online. I was in the process of adopting Benji and Tayia. Lindy then moved back to FL and  began the process
 to adopt Gabe and Levi.
After committing to her boys we found out that my Taiya and her Gabe were actually
 in the same crib together.
We also learned that her  Levi took Benji's place in his group after Benji went home with the us!
How crazy is that!

While in Ukraine we saw a little boy that caught our eye.
He was Benji's best buddy.
Photobucket
He was sweet and kind, and wanted nothing more than to have a mommy and daddy.
We ached to find him a family. All along not realizing God's amazing plan.
We were THAT family.
Long story short, the Falvo's are returning to adopt Phillip!

The House's also met an adorable, blue eyed little boy while they were adopting last year.
He was in their Levi's group.
 Photobucket

Kole.  They fell in love at first sight.
By God's amazing grace and goodness, we are going back to rescue our sweet boy!

Two families

Neighbors
we live only minutes from each other

Returning for our sons buddies

Who will soon be BROTHERS

I couldn't make this stuff up! We did.not.plan.this. Only God

Connecting the dots gives me goose bumps every time I share our stories.

Our two families are now only awaiting our travel date to adopt Kole and Phillip, which we expect to have within 4 weeks!

God has been so amazing in writing every chapter of our stories. He has provided every single step of the way. Many of you have already been a part of that provision, and we are incredibly thankful.

With only $3,000 dollars each that we have to raise, we are confidant that God will once again provide.

Lindy and I together decided to do one last big fundraiser and we are so excited!
Many of you have donated some amazing items!!!

If you would like to be a part of reuniting 2 little boys and bringing them HOME to be sons and brothers, here is your opportunity:)

This whole month of June we will have an online auction. Both of our blogs will have the exact same items and the chip-in will go directly to the same account to be split between both families.
Our hope and prayer is to raise the remaining $6,000 we both need to travel and rescue our boys.

Here is how it will work:

*For every $10 donation you will get your name entered once.

*Entries can be made the whole month of June.

*The last day to enter will be June 30, 2012.

*We will draw names on July 1st and contact you so that you may pick your prize.
1st name gets first choice, 2nd name drawn gets to choose from the remaining, and so on.

We have so many great items for many of you to enjoy!

Of course the more entries you make, the higher chance you get to have the gift of your choice.

We will keep drawing names until the last gift is claimed.

Are you ready for this?!?! Here is the list of all the great prizes you can win!
