I am here. I am pooped. I am trying to find time to post. I wonder what to share? Kids are great. Life..overwhelming at times.
btw~I took Baby girl for her sleep study on tuesday night.

and this little guy is her newest. He really is sweet and very friendly.

We had some excitement around here !!

Those are "JONAS BROTHER" tickets my friends !!! Our sweet neighbor had connections, and scored 4 awesome tickets for my kids the very night of the concert !! The seats were so close to the stage they could see Nick, Kevin and Joe's cute faces about 50' in front of them. Wow-zer !! Jordan Sparks opened and she was awesome too. I was suffering from a 2 day migraine, so my sweet hubby took the kids and Bugs bf desi. They had a wonderful time :):)

This is one happy girl !!!

Boo is finally let me take out her baby earrings from her foster mother in Guatemala and graduated to pretty gold hoops. She looks like a little princesa :) :) She looks so old in this picture !

Big vs. Teeny

How's that for a BIG DOG ! I took Peanut and bug to be tested for the end of their homeschool year, and the teacher raises Great Danes. While the kids took their tests Baby Girl and I hung out with "Godiva" she was huge ! And soooo sweet. Baby Girl thought she was a hoot, she just kept giggling :)

Btw~The kids did awesome on their tests !!! I was so proud :) Peanut tested 2 grades ahead in most subjects and Bug tested at 99% for critical thinking and general knowledge. She knew as much in general knowledge as 10 grader ! Spelling was a weak spot for both of them, so we will be working on that a lot more. We did a lot of "unschooling" this year vs. straight book work and it payed off.

As a homeschooling mom I worry that I am not doing enough , so this made me feel good. On to next year :)

Dr. Update...

Bad blogger Mama. I was sick and really stressed last week, so this is a bit late.

It was the funniest thing, when we walked into the Doctors office to see it all decorated in an African theme AND I was wearing a shirt with a zebra on it, Well AND not to mention...I was holding the REAL and cutest thing to come from Africa lately :) We all laughed. I asked Baby girl if she liked it ;P

(yes I am a bit biased LOL) All Ethiopian babes are perfect. You know I believe that :)

The train and the murals were really neat. Even the bathroom was fancy.

My son came with us, and played trains to entertain baby girl. She actually was pretty happy, until the nurse weighed her, and the dr touched her :( she weighed in at 18.6 My itty bitty girl :)


We still dont have any real answers. They ruled out the stridor, and a small trachea. Ruled out asthma. Chest xray fine. Sinus xray showed irregularities (?) so we are on nasonex and singular at night. plus a strong antibiotic to clear up a possible undiagnosed sinus infection. Dr thinks the noise is coming from the sinus area. AND since the little cutie only sleeps for 2 hrs at a time, he wants her to have a sleep study (oh fun times.) hopefully to rule out adnoid issues and any other sleep issues.

Honestly I left feeling frustrated. I dont like giving her meds on top of meds when she is so healthy otherwise and NONE of them make a difference.

Oye.

I was sooooo tired this week with migraines and a bad sore throat I finally moved baby girl to her crib. She went to sleep like a champ and wakes with a smile. EVERY.2. HOURS.

Off to bed :)

oh how we LOVE this beautiful child :) :) Thank you Lord :)

(now if she would sleep MORE than 2 hours at a time, I would be delirious, actually....I may be getting delirious from lack of sleep)

Snuffles & Snores..thoughts?

So many of you have asked exactly WHAT baby girls rattle /snore breathing issue sounds like. SO, I wanted to just

show you, let you hear it for yourself. I made this short video to share with my buddy Kendra, so take a peek & if you have any insight feel free to share . This is the same sound she has had since we met in april, sometimes worse ,sometimes less. Frustrating.
