Hello everyone! It's Maria's sister - just wanted to give a quick update... At 8:30pm, Maria & Michael were on board the plane, awaiting take off for Ethiopia!!!! WOOHOO!!!
This was after an eight hour lay over in Washington where her wonderful friend Kendra met them for lunch and gave them a nice tour. (thank you Kendra)
I probably won't hear anything more for awhile, but as soon as I do, I will post a new update. (or Maria might actually get a chance to sign in & post)
Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers for my sister, brother in law and my new beautiful niece! I can't wait for them to get home - I'm almost tempted to book a flight to Washington to meet them there on their return flight! :)
